Right and Wrong

The moment,
I came into this world,
I was taught that,
This is right, and
This is wrong.
It took time,
For me to realize,
That the right thing,
Did not lead to reward;
That the wrong thing,
Did not lead to punishment.
But, don't know why,
I am still stuck with,
What I was taught.
And, this reminds me,
Of a quote,
Or, something like that.
Even if everyone concurs,
It can still be wrong;
Even if no one adheres,
It can still be right.
