The child in me believes
that the door gives -
a sense of security,
by keeping aside fear;
a feeling of freedom,
from the unknown;
an impression that,
dark forces remain outside.
The wanderer in me thinks
that the door gives -
a sense of insecurity,
by keeping aside fear;
a feeling of unfreedom,
from the unknown;
an impression that,
one remains closed inside.
